Safe Haven is a one-time, life-time certification. All volunteers, who are
working with youth soccer players MUST take the Safe Haven Course. Examples
of volunteers who must take Safe Haven include Coaches and Assistant
Coaches, Team Parents, Referees and Region Officials.
You must have a
2008 volunteer application on file prior to taking the Safe Haven course
(see New Volunteer in the column to your
right)

The other option is to attend a Safe Haven course being conducted by an instructor.

- New Volunteers.
If you have not yet submitted a
volunteer application for 2008, you may begin the process by
completing an application using AYSO's online service at
www.eAYSO.org. Click on the First Time button and follow the
instructions in the subsequent pages to become an AYSO Volunteer.
The system will also provide you the ability to create a profile
consisting of your email and password. When you've completed the
online Volunteer application, print a copy, sign it and contact Tony
Warfield who can then provide your AYSO ID number.
- Returning volunteers. If you have submitted a volunteer form for
2008, you'll need to find out your AYSO ID number. To do that either

- Once you have your Volunteer Form completed
and an AYSO ID number please pick a time when you can spend a
minimum of one hour on the computer, to complete this course. Upon
completion a record of your session will be forwarded to AYSO and
you will be able to print out a certificate. Please keep this
certificate.Safe Haven is a one time requirement.
