- AYSO is an ALL volunteer organization
and needs your help. Please see the Top
10 Reasons Why Should I Be A Referee?
- Each year, ALL Referees need to
complete a volunteer form; this can be done
online. Print 2 copies,
sign both and turn them in to the Referee Administrators or one of our board
members. Youth Referees must complete a Youth Volunteer Form.
- ALL volunteers must take a Safe Haven
course which only has to be done once. If you have never completed this
course, you may now take it
online

Referee Week in Review is designed to address the issues facing
referees at all levels by using video highlights from
professional games as well as the U.S. National Teams. the
Referee Week in Review will highlight specific areas of focus
and current U.S. Soccer initiatives designed to improve
performance and aid in the development of officials across the
country.

1. Referees are needed for the kids to be able to play
AYSO.
2. I will be doing my part in helping Region 16 become a
better place for the children to play.
3. I will receive excellent training and other
experienced referees are always willing to answer my many questions.
4. I will join a very special group of volunteers who
are important to the success of this soccer league.
5. If I referee several games during the day, the region
will feed me for free.
6. I will become much more knowledgeable about the game
of soccer.

I have been complaining and yelling at for years.
